Pastoral Care

At St. Mary's, we are a family, a place where people miss you if you are absent, a place where individuals matter.  We show our concern for our members by celebrating their joys and supporting them in times of sickness, sorrow or difficulty.

The Pastoral Care Team is responsible for visiting sick and shut-in members of the parish, and may help in providing transportation for doctors' office visits, etc. Their visits complement those of the Rector.  On Sundays, visitors often take altar flowers, when available, to sick, shut-in and grieving members of the parish.  Cards are sent to parishioners on their birthdays and anniversaries and on occasions of sickness.
