Building and Grounds |
|
|
Our
building was constructed in 1966 and remodeled in 1988. The
remodeling included the addition of a pipe organ, offices, choir room,
conference room and classrooms. The sanctuary is highlighted
by a wooden vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and pew seating for
approximately 175 people. The building sits amidst older homes and
horse farms, providing a picturesque setting. We are often
referred to by locals as the “pretty little stone church.” The
grounds contain a Columbarium surrounded by a garden chapel. The
“Gardening Angels”, a group of parish volunteers, maintain the
gardens on the property.
A carillon is installed in our steeple and calls us to worship and to
celebrate special occasions. |
